Dr. Cameron Vowell, a key member of The Naked Catfish, which is the Board of Directors of The Edge of Chaos, will be honored with the Vulcan Lifetime Achievement Award on October 2, 2014. Dr. Vowell is receiving this award in recognition of decades of work championing women and the environment.
David Hooks, Director of Innovation at The Edge of Chaos, addresses Governor Bentley and Mayor Sheldon Day of Thomasville along with 150 attendees from across the Black Belt on Innovation in Manufacturing. On July 23, the Black Belt Commission held its annual meeting in Thomasville, Alabama. The Commission is an all-volunteer group comprised of 13 committees appointed by the Governor and dedicated to revitalizing the Black Belt region. Hooks, serves as the Chair of the Manufacturing Committee for the Commission. This picture appeared on the front page of the Thomasville Times.
